The 2008 Men's Heavy 4+ was the first Clemson Crew Varsity boat to reach finals at Dad Vail Regatta. The crew easily won a spot in semi-finals, then barely edged out N.C. State in the semi-finals by 0.117 second to earn their spot in finals. The Heavy 4+ was coached by Chris Czech.
